Historic Season Highlights, Leadership, Legacy, and Championship Excellence in Hampton
The Hampton Bulldogs are celebrating more than just wins this season, they are celebrating leadership, legacy, and a standard of excellence that continues to elevate the entire program.
Head Coach Brandon Jones has officially been named the 2026 2A-8 Coach of the Year, a well-deserved honor following a remarkable and history-making 2025–2026 season.
Under Coach Jones’ leadership, the Bulldogs finished with an impressive 29–7 overall record, demonstrating consistency, discipline, and a championship mindset from start to finish. This season not only added to the program’s success, but also marked a significant personal milestone, as Coach Jones surpassed 105 career wins, solidifying his impact as one of the premier coaches in the region.
But beyond the numbers, this season will be remembered for the championships earned and the standard set.

• 2026 2A-8 Conference Champions
• 2026 2A-8 District Tournament Champions
• 2026 2A-4 Regional Champions Each championship reflects the culture Coach Jones has built, one rooted in discipline, accountability, toughness, and love for his players. Known as a “players’ coach,” he has consistently emphasized not only developing skilled athletes, but also building young men of character, leadership, and purpose.
Coach Jones’ ability to connect with his team, demand excellence, and guide them through adversity has been instrumental in the Bulldogs’ success. His leadership has not only produced wins, but has strengthened the pride and unity within the Hampton community.
