SAU Tech presented the community with information on money from the federal government for developing a Manufacturing Center of Excellence that will effectively meet the workforce needs of our surrounding region.
This meeting was to explore the needs the local community sees are of concern and how SAU Tech can help in developing a more vibrant economic region.
There were representatives from the Hampton School, Calhoun County, the City of Hampton, and ICOR, along with other concerned citizens. The conversation explored what is needed and what would Calhoun County and region look like ten years from now.
