Arkansas Award Winning Author Visits Calhoun County

Arkansas native, T.L. Simpson, visited Calhoun County Library to share the inspiration for his works along with his own personal life experiences. Patrons of the library enjoyed sweets and refreshments while Simpson gave a sneak peak into his next book! Simpson describes the honor he felt when winning the Michael L. Printz Award for Excellence in Youth Adult Literature. His book, Cope Field, also was a 2026 Printz Award Honor Title. Calhoun County Library was honored to have this author in house. Be on the look out for the next Arkansas Author so you don't miss it!
