By Kalli Smith As the 2026 Calhoun County Fair comes to a close, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who helped make the Exhibit Building a success.
Thank you to all of the individuals who entered exhibits this year. Whether you submitted baked goods, canned items, sewing projects, crafts, photography, flowers, produce, or other entries, your participation helped showcase the talent, creativity, and skills found throughout Calhoun County. The Exhibit Building is one of the fair's highlights, and it would not be possible without the many exhibitors who share their work with our community.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to the Extension Homemaker Club members who volunteered their time throughout fair week. Your willingness to help with preparations, assist exhibitors, welcome visitors, and keep the Exhibit Building running smoothly is greatly appreciated. Your dedication and service played an important role in making this year's fair a success.
Finally, thank you to the Calhoun County Fair Board for their continued support of the Exhibit Building and for providing lunch for our volunteers during the week. We appreciate your partnership and commitment to making the Calhoun County Fair a positive experience for our community.
Thank you again to everyone who entered exhibits, volunteered, and supported the fair. As this year's fair season comes to an end, I encourage everyone to start thinking about projects for next year. I look forward to seeing both returning and new exhibitors at the 2027 Calhoun County Fair.
