Poll Season

Editorial

Every couple years there are poll after poll after poll. Each poll gives a different outcome. Just keep looking and you'll find one you like and agree with.

The voters generally don't care about the polls, unless it's their candidate winning. The candidates like to know in advance if they are going to win or not. I suppose there is some algorithms that help candidates what to say to get elected. If you ask the question right you can get the answer you want to here... that the other side is losing.

If I have time, I will answer a poll, local ones primarily. It's fun to help them ask the question right instead of giving them what they want.

Bottom line, everyone should vote whether or not you side is winning or not. I would like to see polling stop a few days before the election and let everyone go vote and see how it really comes out.
