Rebecca Lynn Forrest, age 52 of Hampton died Sunday, March 3, 2024. She was born December 28, 1971 in Sana Jose, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Whitworth and Joyce Carr Whitworth; and one sister, Tammy Shikle. Rebecca is survived by her husband, Bobby Forrest of Hampton; one son, Brandon (Heather) Robbins of East Camden, two daughters, Dekota Forrest of Warren, Kayla McCranie of Hensley; one sister, Kayla Ryen of PA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Robbins, Elijah Robbins, Alexis Robbins, Blake McWha, Nanami McCranie, Brandon McCranie, Mia Edgin, Mason Edgin, Stephen Forrest and Winter Arnold. 03/20/2024 11:00 PM 1

Thornton will kick-off the Calhoun County Hogskin Holidays Festival with bingo, games, and live music for entertainment, along with a barbecue dinner on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Thornton Fire Station/Community Room in Thornton, Arkansas. Live music will be provided for your entertainment Aaron Courtney and by the “William & Friends Band.” Valuabledoorprizes will be awarded. Tickets may be purchased for $12.00 each. The Hampton FFA competed in the Southern District Career Development Events at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. Six teams from Hampton qualified for state that takes place in April.
