age 71 of Hampton died Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born October 16, 1951 in Owensboro, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents, Darrell C. Moody, Sr. and Annetta Joyner Moody; one brother, Joey Moody; and two sisters, Jane Martin and Becky Curtis. He is survived by two daughters, Jeana Moody-Edlin and Terra (Naomi) Moody of Bowling Green, KY; one step son, Thomas (Angie) Welborn of Bowling Green, KY; one brother, Brad (Cathy) Moody of Hot Springs; one sister, Karen Barnett of Moro Bay; special nephew and niece, Eric and Crystal Martin of Hampton; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 08/03/2023 04:00 AM

August 1 was an exciting day attheHamptonSchools. All employees returned for a full day of training. Administrators,teachers, and support staffed gathered for their first day of the 2023-24 school year and it was a day full of learning. The day began with the administrators; Elementary Principal Tom Sawyer, High School Principal Bryan Sanders and newly hired Superintendent Matt Scarbrough serving breakfast to the everyone.
