Elections are the hallmark of democracy. Without elections, we have a dictatorship. Elections require people to vote. Sometimes it can be a little bit of a pain to go vote. There could be a line, the machines may not be working properly, or there just isn’t a motivation to go and cast a vote. None the less it is a great privilege we have, currently, to be able to vote. The more votes that are cast the more accountably there is for the officials to actually do the job they were elected for. A democracy which is truly be effective is where all of the (eligible) people cast their vote. The fewer the votes, the less of a democratic solution. The democratic process includes options for which to vote. There is basically two parties and the parties choose (in various ways) their candidates, often by way of debates. Oh, now, it looks like no one wants to debate. The art of debate has become extinct. 04/27/2023 04:00 AM

Persis Anne Reagan,age 58 of Harrell passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023. She was born March 21, 1965 in Miami, Florida. She was a former model, swimmer, diver, and a homemaker at the time of her passing. She was a NCAA champion driver for two major universities. The dedication it takes to be at that level of competition defined Anne. She was always the hardest worker in the room, and she loved others just as hard.
