Accident Report

The driver of a SUV lost control of her vehicle on the wet pavement which traveled across the center lane and into the ditch on the other side. The driver attempted to regain control of the car but over corrected. The overcorrection cause her to rotate clockwise as it traveled along the roadside where it hit a ditch embankment with the front bumper. Her car continued to travel down in the roadside sideways where it came to a final rest. This collision occurred because of the driver’s inability to maintain control of her vehicle on the wet roadway surface conditions.

For reasons unknown, the driver of a Mitsubishi Galant lost control of the vehicle, which departed the south side of the roadway and entered the roadside. It then traveled west along the roadside where it traveled over a residential driveway and then re-entered the south roadside. Thereafter, the vehicle traveled west in the roadside where the driver attempted to maneuver the vehicle back onto the road, but it hit a second residential driveway culvert. After impact with the culvert, the driver reversed the vehicle in the apparent attempt to back out of the roadside but it became disabled. The driver then left the vehicle and walked from the scene of the collision.
