CCSO Warns Citizens of Scam Phone Calls
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office have been receiving numerous reports of citizens receiving phone calls stating that they have won the Publisher’s Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. This is a scam that citizens need to be aware of, and is not just restricted to Calhoun County. The article below is from the Arkansas Attorney General’s Website, and more information on the many scams can be found there. If you receive one of these calls, you are urged to not give out any information and to contact the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office or the Attorney General’s Office to report it.
