Hampton City Council Fills Vacancy

After the vacancy left by Wesley Gresham on the Hampton City Council, Lana Bounds volunteered and was appointed as city council alderman in ward 2. Hampton administrative clerk Jamie Henson was approved for a $1.00 hourly raise. She told the council money for new Christmas lights, banners and decorations were raised with the help of local businesses. A grant was applied to expand the Hampton Fire Department.
