Law Enforcement Tracks Down Inmate in Calhoun County

Traffic on Highway 274 West of Hampton and just East of Locus Bayou was interrupted when a prisoner on a work release program decided to make a run for it. Inmate Wayne Corner fled his place of employment in El Dorado on Thursday morning. With the support of Arkansas Game and Fish, Arkansas State Police, Highway Police and Calhoun County Sheriff the area was secured and Arkansas Department of Corrections tracking hounds were deployed to expedite the search.
