Masks, Money and Movements From of the School Board

The school board met in regular session to discuss masks, salaries, school improvement, and graduation.
Masks
The motion on the continuance of the mask policy was announced as passed; however, the votes were two for, one against, and one abstained vote which is a 2-2 vote. Therefore, the motion did not pass or fail and essentially there was no action taken. The Board is required by the state to make a decision by April 15. There will be a special called meeting asap. Hampton High School superintendent hopes to start the next school year mask-free.
