New AED for Jail, New Ambulance for County

The Calhoun County Jail received an new AED (Automated External Defibrillator) donated by ProMed Ambulance Service. The new and improved version received and stored ready to use at the county jail has a better method of fibrillation giving the patient a much better chance of survival.

Ken Kelley, CEO, presented Calhoun County Sheriff Vernon Morris with the new Zoll AED Plus automatic defibrillator and showcased for County Judge Floyd Nutt a new frontline ambulance now serving the area. Equipped with the latest safety enhancements, Stryker PowerPro stretcher and PowerLoad system, plus more, the unit provides the best in response capability while protecting both the patient and the crew.
