Quorum Court Approves New Equipment
The Calhoun county Quorum Court approved purchase of seven new TASERs. The TASERs will cost around $3,000 each and will be paid for over the next four years. The TASER 7 model is capable of delivering multiple shots to separate suspects if needed. The TASER is a nonlethal method of dealing with a violent suspect. Also approved are new body cameras for the officers which offer better quality, dependability and storage of video.
