Quorum Court Meets at Dr. Rhine Park

The quorum court met at Dr Rhine Park this week. Throughout the year the court meets at various locations to highlight the county’s properties. Judge Floyd Nutt provided fried fish for a meal before the meeting started. Dr. Rhine Park located in the north part of the county has been around for over fifty years and was used by many with camp sites and dog kennels used for hunting and shows.

Seven ordinances were passed, which can be read on page 6. Ordinance and 2021-17 authorizes the county to purchase materials from an existing personnel of the county as required by law.

2021-18 appropriates money from a law enforcement grant received by the sheriff to purchase equipment. Equipment purchased includes boots, go-bags and a door lock tool.
