State Police and Sheriff Share in Seized Substance Investigation

On July 7, 2021 Arkansas State Trooper Justin Harper conducted a traffic stop on Highway 167 North of Hampton. During this traffic stop the driver and passenger were identified as Kerry Cunningham of Camden and Wallace Lock of El Dorado. Upon identifying the occupants of the vehicle an odor of marijuana was detected and both subjects were asked to exit the vehicle and were detained and a probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle.

During the search there were small amounts of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana located in a small bag belonging to one of the occupants of the vehicle and also a large suit case was located in the vehicle.
