Norma Moore-Berry,

77 of Hampton, Arkansas passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026. Born on January 7, 1949 in Calhoun County. Norma was the beloved daughter of the late James E. Moore and the late Alma MoorePenny. She graduated from Hampton High School and earned a degree in English Education from Arkansas Mechanical & Normal College (AM&N).She later obtained a Masters Degree in Reading Education from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. She was a member of the NEA/AEA, Lewisville PTO, Who's Who in America Education and the International Biography of Who's Who. She dedicated over 25 years in the teaching profession as a public school teacher at Lewisville Public School.

She loved reading novels and watching LHS basketball and volleyball team sports. She sponsored the English and Reading Clubs at LHS and taught Adult Education classes. Her later teaching career consisted of teaching summer school at Hall High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a member of the St. Paul Church in Lewisville. She was also a graduate member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

She is survived by her siblings which include brothers: Dr. James E. Moore, Jr. (wife, Linda Moore), Clyde E. Moore, and deceased brother, Cornelious Moore. Sisters are: Barbara A. Moore, DarleneGreeneanddeceased sister, Lestene Thomas. Her daughter, Nerissa, preceded her in death and she is survived by her beloved daughter, Rhemona A. Moore. Funeral services will be held on October 10th at the St. Paul Baptist Church, Hampton, Arkansas on Lil Bay County Road. Viewing will begin at 10:00 am with services starting at 11:00 a.m.
