Aaron Eugene Brandon

Aaron Eugene Brandon, 91 of Thornton died Monday November 30, 2020 at his home. Born May 1, 1929, he was a son of the late Lewis Harvey Brandon and Hattie Jane Shook Brandon.

Aaron was the owner and operator of Brandon Drive-In at Thornton for many years. He was a member of Thornton First Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was a member of the George Washington Lodge no. 231, a Sahara Shriner, served on the Calhoun County Quorum Court, Thornton City Council and Thornton Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Harry Brandon.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Brandon of Thornton; two sons, Johnny Brandon and wife Paige of Fordyce, Fred Brandon and wife Bobbi Jo of Mead, CO; sister, Mary Watson of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Brady Brandon (Kristen), Brent Brandon (Nikki), Laura Brandon, Shelby Taylor (Blake); seven great-grandchildren, Lucy, Charlotte, Brentlee, Blaise, Blaklyn, Beck, and Bailey.
