Charles E. Ritchie

Charles E. Ritchie, 79, of Hampton died Monday, July 24, 2017 at his home. He was born November 20, 1937 in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was a long haul trucker driver for over forty years, but the last ten years he worked as a truck inspector. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy Ritchie and Claudia Jones Ritchie; wife, Jean Bowen Ritchie; one daughter, Karen Reddin; one son, Tony Rinehart; one sister, Peggy Ritchie; and one granddaughter, Anna Rodriguez. He is survived by two sons, Charles W. Ritchie of Fort Worth, TX, and Mark Rinehart of Hampton; three daughters, Sharon Golden, Nancy Newell and Ginger Crotty all of Hampton; three brothers, Dale Ritchie of Fairfield Bay, C.A. Ritchie of Conroe, TX, and Donnie Ritchie of Fordyce; three grandchildren, Brandon Golden of Little Rock, Emily Hughes of Minden, LA, and Lyle Rodriguez of Hampton; and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services are 10:00 am Th ursday at Camp Ground Presbyterian Church with Rev.
