Dorothy Wilson

Dorothy Wilson Nolan of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 18, 1943 in Fordyce, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Henry Franklin and Lillie Jane Pennington Wilson. She was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan and was a retired beautician. She enjoyed cooking, making quilts, reading, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Nolan died Monday, April 6, 2020 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 76.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Nolan; son, Wesley Gill; sisters, James Marie Saeler, Virginia Ruth Gilbert and a brother, Tommy Ray Wilson.

Survivors: daughters, Sonya (Terry) Ledbetter of Sheridan, Tammy Garner of Sheridan; brothers, Charles (Dee) Wilson of Fordyce, Frank Wilson of Fordyce, Marvin (Sissy) Wilson of Fordyce; sisters, Judy Saeler of Kingsland, Francis Gilbert of Sheridan, Patsy Marsh of Sheridan, Sharon Mitchell of Sheridan, Kathy Flowers of Jonesboro; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

Due to the Covid-19, graveside service will be private at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan on Saturday. There will be no public visitation.
