Edd Dempsey

Edd Dempsey, 88 of Hampton, died Sunday, October 18, 2020 in Little Rock. He was born December 3, 1931 in Holly Springs to the late Perry Dempsey and Ellen Brown Dempsey. He was also preceded in death by his wife Pattie Speer Dempsey and eleven brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his daughter Donna Dempsey of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandsons Eric Dempsey of Austin, Texas and Jared Dempsey of Fort Worth, Texas; his sister Henrietta Sanford of Florida; and his fiancé Mary Banks of Little Rock.

Visitation will Wednesday morning from 9AM until 10AM at Antioch Baptist Church of Hampton. Funeral services will follow at 10AM at the church. The family requests that everyone attending the service wears a facemask. Burial will be at Earnest Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
