Enoch Dewitt “Doc” Porter

Enoch Dewitt “Doc” Porter, 90, of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to his heavenly home on April 27, 2022. He was born February 9, 1932 in Hampton, Arkansas to the late Dewitt and Ozzie Porter. Doc faithfully served his Lord as deacon, Sunday School teacher, mentor and counselor to so many friends and family. He was a member of Legacy Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas and charter member of Hampton First Assembly of God Church.

Doc was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Betty Watson, Janis Johnston, and Thelma Jean Porter.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Billye Porter; daughters Jennifer Jennings (Skip); Cindy Dudenhefer (Harry); grandchildren Kirby Key (Rob); Jon Marc Dudenhefer (Heather); Kyle Jennings (Melissa); and three very special great grandchildren Porter and Avery Key; Camryn Wisler.

Visitation will be Friday, April 29 at 10:00 am at First Assembly of God Church in Hampton, Arkansas with services following at 11:00 am. Rev. Larry Burton and Rev. Ricky Smith officiating. Burial will be at Pickett Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kyle Jennings, Jon Marc Dudenhefer, Sam Johnston, Chuck Watson, Tim Ables, Rob Key, and Matt Williams.

The family would like to give special thanks to the following: Mindy Farmer, Bessie Sheffield, Lynn Reeves, The Caring Place, Rock Steady Boxing, and the staff at Brookfield Memory Care.
