Hazel Earnest Hand

Hazel Earnest Hand, ,age 94 of Hampton, Arkansas went to her Heavenly Home on October 14, 2022. She was born June 27, 1928 in Tinsman, Arkansas and was the daughter of Henry Garland Earnest and Martha M. King Earnest.

She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and spent many years babysitting. She was a great influence, raising many of the children in Calhoun County, Arkansas. She worked many years at Baldwin Electronics and during WW2 worked at an ordinance complex in East Camden, Arkansas.

She was a devout Christian and member of Hampton First Baptist Church for more than 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Joe Paul Hand, and 7 brothers and sisters. Survivors include one son, David Wayne Hand of Hampton; one daughter, Phyllis Ann Hand Hearnsberger (Greg) of Hampton; two grandsons, Dr. Steven Paul Hand (Maria) of Hermitage, Pennsylvania and William Glyn Hearnsberger (Isabella) of Sheridan; and 10 grandchildren.

A visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 1PM until 2PM at First Baptist Church of Hampton. Funeral services will be 2PM at First Baptist with burial following at Earnest Cemetery.
