Jackie Goodwin,

85 of Hampton, died Sunday, December 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 21, 1938 in El Dorado to the late Grady and Ethel Witherington Ponder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Goodwin, her brother, Billy Ponder, and her son, Shannon Goodwin.

Jackie is survived by her two children, Kim (Sherry Hamilton) Goodwin of Maumelle and Robin (Christian Barrett) Goodwin of Hampton; her two grandchildren, Dalton (Kassi) Goodwin of Monroe, Louisiana and Alexis Grace Goodwin of Parkers Chapel; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews that includes one of her special caretakers, Stephanie Lacy.

A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Graveside services will be 10AM Wednesday at Dunn Cemetery with Rev. David Collins officiating.
