Jesse L. Hornaday,

95 of Hampton, died Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was born September 10, 1928 in Fordyce. Jesse was a member of Hampton First Baptist Church and worked for South Arkansas Telephone Company for 30+ years.

Jesse is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Crawford Hornaday; his parents, Barney and Dallas Neely Hornaday; three brothers: Lynn Allen, Grover Hornaday, and Ben Allen; and one sister, Ruby Stone.

He is survived by his three children, Frances (Rick) Shirron of Hampton, Alan (Sheila) Hornaday of Mountain Pine, and Mark (Kristy) Hornaday of Hampton; eight grandchildren: Nikki Welch of Hampton, Collin Hornaday of Minnesota, Kerbi Mueller of Georgia, Cory Hornaday of Alexander, Crystal Bethea of Sheridan, Summer Harper of Harmony Grove, Addyson Hornaday of Woodberry, and Klayton Ballance of Hampton; and eleven great grandchildren.
