Mary L. Hand Clayborn

Mary L. Hand Clayborn, 94, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at her daughter’s house in Gould, Arkansas surrounded by her three daughters and their husbands. She was born March 27, 1927 in Tinsman, Arkansas to the late Frank and Ada Bell Moore Hand. In 24 more days she would have celebrated her 95th birthday.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Clayborn, two sons Robert (Buddy) Clayborn and Randall (Randy) Clayborn, her grandson Johnny Evans, her son-in-law Frankie Sullivan, five brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by three daughters: Lucy (Pete) Johnson, Brenda (Ray) Clowers, and Janet Sullivan; seven grandkids, eleven great grandkids, one great-great granddaughter; five bonus grandkids and two great grandkids.

A visitation will be held Monday from 10AM until 12PM at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. A graveside service will immediately follow at Earnest Cemetery near Tinsman. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce/Hampton. To sign the online register visit www. bentonfuneralhome.net .
