Sallie Marie Vines Jones

Sallie Marie Vines Jones, 95 of Fordyce, died Sunday July 11th, 2021. She was born August 19, 1925 in Spruce Pine, Alabama to the late John Thomas Vines and Mary Etta Estes Vines. She is also preceded in death by her husband James Horace Jones, step-mother Lizzie Bowkin, Daughter Linda Marie Jones, son James Gary Jones, sister Maranda Gertrude Vines Berry, and her brothers Jewel Leon Vines, William Frazier Vines, Lans Laneve Vines. Sallie was a seamstress and a homemaker. She is survived by her son Roger Dale Jones of Hampton, two daughters W. Gail Trudell and husband Jimmy of Fordyce and Nancy K. Arnold of Camden; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 10AM Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike White and Rev.
