Castleberry all of Fordyce, passed away together Wednesday March 29, 2023.

Sammy was born September 5, 1959, the son of the late J.D. Tucker and Doris Ann Rucker Tucker. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church where he was a deacon and Sunday School director. He loved his Southside family and the “Sunday School Kids” He was retired from the Hampton School District where he was the Ag teacher for 37 years. Sammy loved to hunt and fish and was a member of Rucker Hunting Club. He was an avid Razorback fan as well.

He is survived by his children, Rachel Reeves and husband, Joshua of Centerton; Jacob Tucker and wife Justine of Bella Vista; two grandchildren, James Donovan “J.D.” Tucker, Eloise Ann Reeves due in June; two sisters, Opal Taylor of Sparkman, Rose Clayton of Shady Grove, two sistersin- law, Debbie Jeffrey of Conway, and Becky Jacobson of Branson, Missouri.

A memorial scholarship for Sammy and Lisa Tucker has been set up through gofundme, or contributions may be sent to the family.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Fordyce with Rev.
