Shirley R. Barnes

Shirley R. Barnes, 85 of Little Rock, died Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was born February 17, 1936 in DeQuincy, Louisiana to the late Charles Earl Crawford, Sr. and Rose Morrison Crawford. She was also preceded in death by her husband Morgan Ernest Barnes, her sister Rosemary Cormier, and her brother Charles E. Crawford Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Lea Mabry and husband Michael of Little Rock and Evelyn Williams of Russellville; one brother Billy Crawford of New Orleans; one sister-in-law Clara Shrum of Fordyce; four grandchildren, Mica Williams of Russellville, Stephanie Freedle and husband Dan of Prairie Grove; Matthew and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday from 10AM until 11AM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 11AM Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery near Hampton. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
