Sylvia Jo Roark

Sylvia Jo Roark, age 72, of Hampton died Saturday, July 9, 2022 at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born August 8, 1949 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was a retired postal clerk and also helped manage Hampton TV & Appliance Store in Hampton. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, Joe T. Dunn and Laverne Proffitt Dunn; and husband, Ted Roark. She is survived by one son, Dr. Tim Stokes of Tacoma, WA; one daughter, Michelle (Richard) Carson of Hampton; one sister, Kay Davis of Hampton; three grandchildren, Zac Blann of Oklahoma City, OK, Jackson Stokes and Grace Stokes of Tacoma, WA; and special caregiver, Jimmie Montgomery of Hampton.

Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hampton First Assembly of God Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be Tuesday 2:00 pm at Hampton First Assembly of God Church with Rev.
