Hampton Holiday Basketball Tournament

The tournament results, for the home team, did not go as well as they would have liked. The girls came out 1 and 2, the boys lost both of theirs. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Parkers Chapel and lost to Gurdon and Strong. The Bulldogs lost to Gurdon and Harmony Grove.

Against the Go-Devils Hampton got of to a bad start by only putting up 4 points in the first quarter. In the second period Hampton closed the gap, scoring 13 points to 10 for Gurdon, they gained one more point in the third, 33 to 26. In the final they got to within 3 but could not get over the hump. They had to foul Gurdon and the Go-Devils made the free throws for a 47 to 40 win.
