Hampton Losses Three Games to Nevada
Senior Girls
The Lady Bulldogs were not treated quite as badly as the Jr. Boys, but you couldn’t make them believe it. The short end of a 52 to 35 score is a bad feeling. Nevada just, quite simply, had the better athletes, offensively and defensively. The Lady Dogs never quit trying but they could not run or rebound with the Nevada team.
At the end of one quarter the score was 14 to 7 and that was as close as it would get. It was 28 to 16 after 2, 45 to 16 after 3 but Hampton did get more points than the Bluejays, 9 to 5 in the 4th.
