Jr. Bulldogs Basketball Tournament

The Bullpups drew Woodlawn for their first opponent in the tournament and had all they could handle to pull out a 42 to 41 win. They had good runs, bad runs, good plays, bad plays and stinky playing but made the basket that counted most.

Hampton did defend the basket and kept the Bears from getting easy layups off of rebounds. They had several lapses in the coverage of the trey shooting area and let Woodlawn get wide open looks for 10 three pointers. (30 of the Bears 41 points) They were not picking up the shooters when they approached the threepoint line. They will know for the return match.
