Calhoun County Extension Homemakers Clubs Now Recruiting Members
The Calhoun County EH clubs are reorganizing and seeking new members. The purpose of these clubs are to give an opportunity to participate in the educational programs of the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. Members in EH clubs will have the opportunity to continuing education, strengthening individuals and families; developing personal skills. Members have an opportunity to develop leadership abilities through service as a club officer, serve on a club committee, or by leading club programs and community improvement projects. Hampton Student Receives $1,000 Beta Club Scholarship
Hampton Student Receives $1,000 Beta Club Scholarship
Hampton Senior Matison Williams has been selected to receive a $1000 scholarship from the National Beta Club. Each year National Beta grants around $300,000 in scholarships through an application process for Seniors. Matison was one of only 257 recipients from over 2,700 applicants from across the United States and several other countries.
