Water Break Extends Christmas Break
On December 24, a copper pipe separated and started a downpour from the ceiling in the East hallway of the High School. This went on for 36 hours. School not being in session for Christmas break so there was no way of discovering the problem. Until, oddly enough, the fire alarm in the middle school building started to go off. A nearby neighbors called the fire department and drew attention to the on-going problem. The School then got repair plans together and started fixing the damages. Judge Hamilton H. Singleton swore in his final group of officials after 28 years of serving as Circuit Judge. His last act before retiring as Judge was to swear in David Graham as his replacement.
