Judge Hamilton H. Singleton swore in his final group of officials after 28 years of serving as Circuit Judge. His last act before retiring as Judge was to swear in David Graham as his replacement. The following were sworn in for Calhoun County, City of Hampton and the City of Thornton: Judge Floyd Nutt; Sheriff Vernon Morris; County Clerk Jeanie Smith; Treasure Jennifer Beene; Coroner Donna Steelman; Hampton Mayor Rick Shirron; Hampton Alderman Nikki Powers; Thornton Alderman Larry Williams and Robin Stringfellow; Constable David Smith, Leland Gilliam, John E.
