Right photo and below were taken across the road from the gravel pit where the breach took place. The fall garden (right) lost okra, turnip greens watermelons seen in the photo. The okra had new blooms less than a week later. Below is shown fish dead and trees blackened. Just a few hundred yards north on the road, the trees were unaffected. Photos by Larry Killian
