Fire Ant Control….There’s Still Time!
One of the more consistent calls I get on a yearly basis is “How do I control fire ants in my yard/pasture/field/etc.?” The answer might discourage you but there is no way to do a complete control. A fellow agent once told me (in regards to fire ants) “Boy, you have to find a level of aggravation you’re willing to put up with.” This seemed so vague at the time but since I’ve been doing demonstrations for 13 years, that statement could not have been more spot-on!

City Council Cleans Up City
Hampton City Council met Monday, August 9, and approved an ordinance that sets up EFT for the city for direct deposits. This was discussed several months ago and finally got finished.
